The Great Director of an Era

Reborn from the start, how do you make a name for yourself?

Make movies, start a company, expand into new genres, develop the Spring Festival release season, and dominate the film industry: that’s what a great director does.

Reform film-school curricula, explore an industrial model for filmmaking, train professionals who can keep up with the times, and spread Chinese culture around the world: that’s what a director of an era does.

Mu Yan makes his start with novels, paves the way with songs, rides the wind upward, and soars to the heights, forging a legend for the ages.
