The story takes place in Shenzhen-Hong Kong, China's technology and financial center in the near future. This is a highly digitalized and highly capital-concentrated arena. The protagonist, Lu Yi, was originally the chief analyst of the top strategic consulting company "Zongheng Think Tank". The core conflict of the story revolves around Lu Yi and the man behind his frame--the multinational technology giant "Tianqiong Group" and its CEO Gu Qingcang.
