The Villains Aren't All Dead Yet

I opened the starting point and didn't see the update. I refreshed it and switched it and said yes. I was so sad. Let me write about what I think is wrong. The last book was recommended by the NGA Academy Book Recommendation Post. Due to various reasons, I only read the first volume. This book was read from the beginning. I write whatever comes to my mind, but I don't organize it () Let's talk about the previous book first. I read that the author said that at the beginning of the previous book, some people said it was good and some people said it was bad. I feel that the title of the last book, The Blind Man, is indeed an attractive enough gimmick. From a reader's perspective, there is obviously a psychological expectation that the vision problem will be gradually solved as the plot progresses. This element is combined with the element of restraint. As a blind man, the protagonist sees indescribable things. His SAN value decreases in the depressed emotions. He is deceived by the fortune teller, but in the end he defeats an army. At the same time, at the beginning of the previous book, the two characters of the teacher's wife (although there was no communication at the beginning, but the readers expected her to be the heroine) and the junior sister (who revolves around the protagonist, very lovable) appeared at the beginning. As a regulator of the depressed emotions at the beginning, it is a good combination. As for the current book, first of all, I feel that the title is not good. Of course, I can't tell where it is () Then there may be some problems with the starting point, rhythm and emotion? As a result, the reading experience is indeed dull. This time I chose the Xianxia Dynasty background + rebirth + detective start. However, the entry point of the investigation felt crooked, which directly caused the rhythm to go wrong step by step. On the surface, the case to be investigated is the theft of the guest's treasure A, but in fact the case to be investigated is the unspeakable relationship between the prefect and the demon clan B. But in our opening, these two are very far away - Shen Zhi is a trainee Jifengwei, and is not qualified to participate in the case investigation. He harbors the escaped Magneti, and then the opening case is... Investigating the disappearance of Sister Xiaowan C? For this opening, it took 12 chapters, which is almost half of the plot, to write about Shen Zhi wooing the two heroines and getting them to agree to cooperate, so as to have the prerequisites for investigating Case B. The plot that begins in the next 13 chapters is to create the illusion that the magnet ghost has escaped, thereby gaining time and opportunity to investigate. It wasn't until Chapter 24 that the progress of the main plot was advanced, and I contacted the prefect to obtain side mission 1—Building a soup pool? It was only in Chapter 25 that it was revealed that the stolen treasure was Jiucha Deer Antler, throwing out a few new pieces of information. In Chapter 27, an NPC was assassinated again. I felt that I was far away from the main plot again. I had to do side mission 2 (sad) In other words, after nearly 90,000 words, the detective line was basically untouched and was all about preparations. Generally speaking, the beginning of an investigation is to collect clues, discover doubts, and get closer to the truth. However, due to traps/emergency events designed by the villain, the truth may be missed. As the investigation progresses, characters can be introduced, worldview information can be introduced, and the veil of this fantasy world can be gradually unveiled, and new information can be thrown out to attract readers. From this perspective, this article gives me the feeling that it has been going around in circles before the main mission, and has not been able to advance. There are no breaking points, and there is not enough new information. Moreover, it is also far-fetched to single out the investigation case B and say that the prefect purchased Jiucha deer antler for his son -> Jiucha deer antler implies that someone has established a connection with the demon clan -> the demon clan is infiltrating Kyushu -x-> everyone in Zhuozhou will lose their heads. It is obviously certain that the demon clan is infiltrating Kyushu, but is the affair with the demon clan related to the prefect himself? It's hard to say, because he is just a buyer, so I put an x. The magistrate obviously bought things online with distinguished guests from Yongjing, but there is no other evidence that strongly suggests that the magistrate also had an affair with the demon clan. At worst, it is doubtful where his money came from, and it has nothing to do with treason, unless other new evidence emerges during the investigation. Originally, case A is very specific. We only need to catch the magnetic kid to solve the case. This is the reader's psychological expectation. But Case B is very abstract, because the reader has no idea who/which organization is having an affair with the demon clan, and where the evidence is. It gives the reader the feeling that this case is very abstract (the original intention), how to investigate it, there is no way to investigate it. Of course the answer to B is written in the outline, but from a reader's perspective, this is a bit counter-intuitive. I think the way that fits my intuition is to discover new evidence in the process of investigating where the prefect's money comes from, and then adjust the investigation direction of the case to B. Only in this way can Case B be changed from abstract to concrete. And this investigation was conducted through the son of the prefect, which is reasonable. After all, the distinguished guest is invisible (I don't understand why such an aloof guest would deliver the goods in person), and the prefect is very sensitive now. But the method of contact turned out to be the art of bathing, and it led to the task of building a hot spring pool for distinguished guests. I was really a little nervous. The construction period is secondary. After all, it is a fantasy. It is not impossible to make a magic circle and directly conjure it up. However, this hot spring pond is also a bit far away from the main plot, so it is really difficult to have a sense of urgency in investigating the case. PS: I remembered that the book "Lady Is Hell" that Douya next door was killed by Shen He's big hand last month was also the beginning of the Xianxia Dynasty investigation. Maybe I can find it and have a look? Then rebirth is very separated from other parts and cannot be well integrated. Chapter 4 and 5 are about recalling things before rebirth, but they mainly focus on two scenes - being besieged and the separation of the two. This has resulted in some background settings being very unclear, such as what are heavenly beings? What is their relationship with the Dynasty? What does the world or dynasty look like now? What kind of person was Shen in his previous life? What is his relationship with Shen Qinglian? These settings were not well explained, which resulted in me only having a very superficial impression that Shen Shangyi was a legendary useless person. And I only remembered it when I was writing some words. I couldn't think of it at all when I was reading, because these settings have no connection with the subsequent text at all. It is too vague and only uses the term heavenly beings, but does not tell readers what kind of existence heavenly beings are and what their relationship is with this dynasty. Just like case B above, it is very abstract and cannot allow readers to construct a concrete impression in their minds. The impression of the past life cannot be established, and the feeling of rebirth is not enough. A negative example is the eight levels and twelve realms in Chapter 19. This chapter is completely stacked with detailed settings. A better way would be to use NPC dialogue to throw out part of the settings and framework. Settings that are not needed can be left out for the time being. For example, for the twelve realms, you can only write the first nine realms first I haven't read many rebirth articles. In my impression, Jianjian's Kingdom of God is the rebirth of the unknown Riddler. The first volume only has a few fragmentary memory fragments before rebirth. But the rest of the content in his first volume, including a series of elements such as the start of the game (?), Poor information, unusual cultivation, and the protagonist wondering who he is, left a strong impression on the readers - the protagonist is a reborn person. How is rebirth reflected in this article? It seems that the information gap has been chosen, and the cultivation has to start from scratch. But the problem is that the information gap is barely used. I remember that what was clearly related to the main plot was because I knew the secret of the heavenly beings in Zhuonan, so I planned to let the mantis stalk the cicada, leaving the oriole behind. Other feelings are more trivial, such as guessing that Xu Hanyi let her go through Magi Gui's jailbreak, and thus decided to win over her, as well as Xiaowan's identity, etc. The information gap cannot reliably speed up/change the direction of the protagonist's main plot, so there is no such thing as the thrill of being reborn to change his fate. There are also the emotional problems brought about by rebirth. As a reader, I expect a protagonist to have strong emotions about being reborn. To use the above-mentioned Kingdom of God as an example, the mentality set by the author for the protagonist is confused. He doesn't know who he is and why his master did what he did. This emotion is interspersed throughout the first volume, and even for most of the book, giving the rebirth a real sense. After all, it is impossible to do it again without feeling it at all. As for this article, as a reader, I expect to see emotions similar to the urgency to prevent Shen Qinglian from giving up his chance of rebirth, the hatred for the villain, the anxiety to grow up quickly, the confusion about why he chose himself, the uneasiness about whether we can meet again, the eagerness for revenge, etc. But in this article, I feel that only Chapter 5 has some writing, and the other chapters are not reflected at all. The protagonist is relatively... Step-by-step? Can't arouse my emotions. At the same time, the main plot that cannot be advanced at all amplifies this point - driven by revenge, he is either eager to become stronger quickly, or he is crazy because he has the overall situation in hand. Shen Zhi is obviously not the latter, but generally speaking, he is the former. But the procrastinating main plot undoubtedly weakened the shaping of this point, and it didn't feel very urgent. Jpg There is also the issue of the allocation of the heroine's role, which feels a bit subtle. Of course, I am not sure about this. When everyone starts with 0 favorability, there is Xu Hanyi who is a colleague, Shi Yuji who is an accomplice, Shen Qinglian who is living in memories, Xiao Wan who is currently attached to the Magnet Ghost, and if we continue to write, there may be Yongjing Guest (?). My intuition tells me that it's not good if it's too scattered. Of course, it's hard to say. In fact, what I want to complain about is that Xiaowan is attached to the existence of Magneti. At least it cannot be conquered now, but it takes up two or three chapters of the plot alone. I feel that it is more reasonable to move the scene back. Xu Hanyi is obviously the heroine, but after chapter 27, the relationship is just a colleague who takes care of the juniors. Like the main plot, there is no progress.

What about the new book? How long has it been here? @reader

The most taboo thing about new books nowadays is going off topic Your old fans may read it, but they will also want to keep it. Those who were recommended to read the book looked at the title and looked for the book. You are a classic off-topic. What I read is not what I wanted to read. However, those who may be interested in the content of your book will not click on it because the title tag will not click in.

It's over, let's save another book

Read the book first and then read it in a few months

Well written, much more engaging than the beginning of the previous book, keep up the good work
