The world is not material - it is only the echo of thought. Here, everything exists because of human "consensus". Mountains, rivers, civilizations, and even the bread in your hand are all based on the unconscious convictions of billions of people. This is a world where perception is reality. And Xu is a mistake. He does not originate from any consensus. When he opened his eyes in the pure white laboratory, there was only an absolute blank inside that was constantly replicating itself. He was not endowed with knowledge, and therefore, he should not exist. The lab wanted to shut him down. The surveillance network is scanning him. The entire world built on "consensus" is rejecting this undefinable alien. To survive, he must learn to be the very thing he is least like: a "person."
