Destroy Eternity and Break the Day

In the beginning, there was just a being in the chaos who lost everything he once had. He was hunting in a programmed manner. He was clearly doing it for himself but insisted that he was a tool to everyone including himself? Obviously everything about him and his memory are incomplete. Everything he does seems to be asking for mercy? What mercy would he want, what requests would he have? Is it to escape from chaos and find a peaceful place? Or is it a way to recuperate in chaos? Or unnecessary resources? What else? Infinite power? The two protagonists are a troubled boy from Earth and a being who lives on revenge.
