Bridge to the Future

"Bridge to the Future" is not a traditional "Kung Fu 2" script, but a "construction note" of a bridge of understanding that a movie fan spent twenty years building for his idol Stephen Chow. The protagonist Azhe, an ordinary born in the 1980s, goes from being obsessed with the crazy jokes in Xingye's movies to understanding the clumsy persistence of "truth" and "love" behind the camera. He was no longer satisfied with looking up, and came up with an almost sacred crazy idea: not for publication, not for proof, just to complete a dialogue across time and space, and write a creative concept for "Kung Fu 2" as a "letter home" to Mr. Xing. It explores how an audience can penetrate the surface of the work through extreme empathy and recursive thinking, touch the unspoken desire of the creator, and try to provide a warm response to that desire in their own way.
