Find the Tears of the Relegated Fairy

Preface to "The Tears of the Relegated Immortal" The Tang Dynasty was founded and lasted for three hundred years; the poetry world was radiant and a generation of talented people gathered together. The rule of Zhenguan laid the foundation for peace, and the prosperous age of Kaiyuan reached its peak. At that time, the world was peaceful, the literary style was at its peak, the stars were shining, and the poets were in the clouds. However, the peak of prosperity will lead to decline, and things will turn into extremes. Yuyang's drums and drums shatter the neon clothes, the fragrance in front of Mawei slope disappears and jade dies, the prosperity of the past is gone in an instant, and the glory of the prosperous age is reduced to a memory. Feeling the vicissitudes of this world and feeling sad about the fate of talented people, I collected the actual records from "Old Book of Tang" and "New Book of Tang", and referenced the legacy of "Chronicles of Tang Poetry" and "Biography of Talented Scholars of the Tang Dynasty", and wrote the book "The Tears of the Exiled Immortal". I wanted to observe the rise and fall of the dynasty through the eyes of a poet, and use the traces of poets to testify to the vicissitudes of the times. This book takes Taibai and Li Bai as the main line, with Meng Haoran, Wang Wei, Du Fu, and Gao Shi as the supporting wings. The narratives are intertwined and the inside and outside reflect each other. "Young Travels" records his heroic spirit of going to the country with his sword and saying goodbye to relatives and traveling far away; "About to Enter the Wine" depicts his unrestrained style of singing and drinking with his golden goblet facing the moon; "The Difficulty on the Road" describes his frustration at his career delays and his frustration at not being able to realize his talents; "Phoenix Terrace" describes his deep thoughts about paying homage to the past and worrying about the country; "Yuyang Drum" describes his wandering in chaos and his loneliness and loyalty to his family and country; "Song on the Road" ends with his great ambition to spread his wings and aim at the nine heavens. The portraits of all living beings are footnotes to the rise and fall of the Tang Dynasty; the deeds of the sages are the epitome of the changes of the times.
