New Era: 2099

In 2089 AD, the embers of nuclear war have not yet been extinguished, and an unknown virus swept the world, catalyzed by radiation. The infected became bloodthirsty zombies, the land was filled with deformed monsters, and human civilization collapsed. Ten years have passed and the world has entered a dark age known as the "New Era". Legend has it that in the far northwest, Xinjiang is the only unpolluted pure land of mankind, where the last scientific research forces gather, looking for hope of healing and reconstruction. However, the road to the promised land is strewn with death and conspiracy. The mutated zombie tide continues to evolve, and murderous intentions are hidden in the survivors' strongholds, while the cold current, radiation and lack of supplies are silently devouring every struggling life. As the survivors trekked through the endless ruins, they gradually discovered that there seemed to be unknown secrets hidden behind the war that led to the doomsday. Is Xinjiang really the last paradise, or another carefully woven trap? Is the origin of the virus a natural punishment or a man-made disaster? In this apocalyptic world where lies and truth intertwine, survival itself is the most cruel test.
