Contagious Hypothesis

When London's fog begins to kill people, the world falls into a silent plague. It's not a virus, but a collective hallucination called "confusion" - lonely people will have deceased relatives, perfect partners, and lost friends appear in front of their eyes. They dance with the phantom, indulge in false warmth, and eventually die of "broken hearts" when the phantom disappears. But when the boundaries of reality are completely blurred, and if falsehood can bring ultimate happiness, do we have the right to wake up those who are addicted? And the real redemption is to expose the illusion, or to embrace the true and true love in it? In the fog that permeates the Twin Cities, only by facing the deepest pain in the heart can we find the way home.
