2003: My Dream-Stealing Era

My name is Hu Liang. Yesterday, I was a failure confined to a hospital bed. Today, I’m the lucky winner of the Berlin International Film Festival.

{Ding! Film and television System bound!}

System: “Newbie mission: Get into one of the three top academies.”

Me: “...But the arts entrance exam registration has already closed, hasn’t it?”

System: “Reward: the screenplay for Inception.”

Me: “...Got it. I’m on my way...”

From an unknown drifter to an award-winning actor, from borrowing ideas to creating something new, everyone says I’m a genius.

Only I know that what I’ve stolen is the future of an entire era.
