Her world is woven with a fine web called "complaints" - complaints about the chicken coops, houses and everything in the city, complaints about the backwardness and narrow-mindedness of her parents. 28-Year-old Lin Wan, her job is to calculate the value of people and eliminate "redundancy" gracefully. However, in the process of accompanying her parents to their end, she became the only support of the family. From her mother's ravings about "paint brushes" and her father's "Pushkin's Selected Poems", she discovered the truth that shattered all her urban rationality - the sky she soared in was supported by her parents' buried dreams and the blood of life. As the four seasons of the village passed by, death taught her how to survive, and she lost everything given to her. The "sunk costs" she had tried so hard to escape eventually became the only "fixed assets" in her life, and she took root and was reborn here.
