Loess Ballad: Soul of the Northwest At Red Willow Beach in Shanxi-Shaanxi Gorge, Su Wanqing, a girl from Xi'an, came back to send her grandmother's fallen leaves back to her roots. She met and fell in love with a young man named Li Tiezhu. The two worked hand in hand to resist the bandits, rebuild their home, and raise their children. In the sand and loess, they wrote a story of love, hatred, and everlasting homeland that took root in the northwest.
