Iron-Blooded Dog King

This work is adapted from a true story and tells the legendary short life of Huzi (originally named Xiaohu), a descendant of a police dog, who went through hardships and stood firm for justice. In October 1999, Xiaohu, an excellent puppy from the police dog base, fell into a deep pool in the virgin forest due to a car accident on the way to be adopted. Fortunately, he was rescued by a thousand-year-old turtle and a giant salamander in the cave. After accidentally eating ancient lotus seeds, it awakened three superpowers, learned poetry, Buddhism, and survival knowledge. It survived a life-and-death struggle in the wilderness and escaped with the help of the old man and the crow. After arriving in Hongcheng, Xiaohu wandered around, being accompanied by homeless people and rescued by boatmen's girls, and developed a desire to coexist with others. It refused to succumb to the overlord of stray dogs and escaped the vicious hands of predators, but unfortunately was captured by the city management. Later, he was rescued by a caring young man on the way to be sold. After witnessing the tragic death of his companion, he was stimulated to escape. He was taken in by a rural woman and was spied on by a gambler. During his escape, he witnessed the relics of the resistance of the land of Ganpo and gained a profound understanding of life and death. After escaping to Xuncheng, Xiaohu was adopted by Lao Fu and renamed Huzi, finally having a stable home. After strict training by the old master, it guarded the factory and became popular with everyone. After accidentally catching a thief, it started a glorious journey - solving crimes and rescuing disasters, catching thieves and rescuing people, and finding people and objects. Even if it was misunderstood, it still insisted on goodwill, and gained friendship and heirs. In the end, in order to prevent more than 30 workers from accidentally ingesting the poison, Huzi swallowed the poison and died heroically. People erected a monument for him and was buried in the cemetery.
