Sage of Demons in Journey to the West: Starting with Incense-Funded Farming

[Classic Journey to the West] [Farming] [A male-oriented novel about the demon race]

After transmigrating into Journey to the West, Bai Zhe became a relative of that tragic scorpion spirit who was instantly killed by a single crow from the Star Official Mao Ri...

He planned to keep his head down and live out a quiet life as a demon, but a string of text quietly appeared in his mind.

[Spirit Fields] [Pond] [Demon Clan Incense]

From then on, Bai Zhe carefully tended every spirit field and pond. Through local expansion, regional rivalries, and the shifting tides of the greater world, he steadily rose to power.

[Pond: Harvested five Qingyang fish. Eating one can dispel demonic yin energy from the body and add twenty years of cultivation.]

[Spirit Field: The Zaohua Ginseng is thriving. It can help the Fengyue Demon comprehend the Dao.]

[Establish a demon stronghold to gather incense from the demons under your command.]

Watch as Bai Zhe eliminates his natural enemy, the Star Official Mao Ri, subdues powerful and alluring female demons, revives the demon race, and turns his blades against the countless immortals and Buddhas in the heavens.

“Our spirit rice yields outstrip the Peach Garden's year after year!” “The demon stronghold's Double Eleven incense sales have topped a hundred million!”

“Report: The Dragon King of Wan Sheng has come to pledge allegiance with his daughter!” “The Jade-Faced Fox has requested a link!”

Guanyin Bodhisattva gazed at him with a complicated expression. “This demon... His methods, though different, somehow lead to the same destination as the benevolent teachings of our Buddhist school. Yet I have never heard of such an approach.”

Sun Wukong was baffled. “I can't see through you. You worship neither immortals nor Buddhas, and you wield a fierce, merciless blade. So why is your fortune more enduring than that old Lord Lao's Azure Ox?”
