Back to the Millennium: Starting with Catching Loaches

In his previous life, Yang Xu resigned and returned to his hometown to care for his father, who had fallen into the sea;

in this life, he chose to put down roots in his native village and become a fisherman.

With a hoe over his shoulder and a fish basket on his back, he roams the tidal flats, chasing the waves and seeking out their wild charms!

He catches plump loaches and blue crabs, digs up fresh razor clams, and finds delicious treasures hidden in the mud!

He leases the tidal flats and turns the soft mud into a treasure trove!

He raises white shrimp, grows laver, and farms oysters, turning the sea's bounty into gold!

In his spare time, he brews a pot of tea and quietly watches the tides ebb and flow. When work calls, he rolls up his sleeves and gets to it. Amid the countryside and the blue waves, he lives a life both carefree and full of vigor.
