The Legend of Wanyaogou

In the early years of the Republic of China, Wanyaogou, a mountain village in Northeast China. Li Wei, a college student, returns to his hometown and discovers that his hometown still follows numerous ancient taboos: don't answer the phone in the middle of the night, don't use cracked bowls, and evil spirits hide deep in the river bends. When he tried to break these rules with new ideas, he touched the delicate balance that has been maintained for hundreds of years, and was forced to face the strange existence lurking under the daily fireworks.
