You're Supposed to Cultivate Immortality, So Why Are You Raising Heart Demons and Forging a Lifebound Heart Weapon?

My name is Lu Yuan, the great demon in everyone’s eyes: decisive, ruthless, and cold-blooded.

But nobody knows that I possess the purest heart in the world.

When the people of the Immortal Sects consider me “useless”:

I silently draw turbid energy into my body, forging a “life-bound heart weapon” that even their founding ancestor would tremble to hear of.

When righteous cultivators surround me and accuse me of “slaughtering the innocent”:

I turn around, kill the elder leading them, and devour his Dao Spirit.

Everyone, outraged: “Look! The demon is killing again!”

(What I’m really thinking: Hilarious. That old bastard just sacrificed an entire town to refine a magical treasure. Are you all blind?)

When Su Qingxue, the Holy Maiden of the Immortal Sects, lunges at me with her sword to “uphold justice on Heaven’s behalf”:

Not only do I not dodge, I help her sever the “Dao Spirit shackles” binding her soul.

All I can say is, they call themselves immortals and call me a demon, yet they don’t know that I’m the only one purifying this corrupted world.
