In the future world, Lin Ye, the "memory weaver", makes a career out of stitching other people's memories, using fragments of unfamiliar emotions to weave false peace for the traumatized. Until an ordinary memory stitching, he came across the afterimage of his mother's disappearance seventeen years ago from the client's memory fragments - the memories of different time and space were connected by invisible stitches, a man wearing a navy blue windbreaker, half a silver necklace, and a blood-stained off-white skirt. All clues pointed to Wei Ming, the leader of the Memory Center. When memory becomes a container that has been tampered with, and when "treatment" is a means to cover up criminal evidence, Lin Ye must unravel the sutured truth in the illusion of memory where virtuality and reality are intertwined: Is he suturing other people's trauma, or his own buried past? And are the fragments that he has woven into other people's consciousness by his own hands the anchor of salvation or the lead to the abyss?
