Ten Years of Drifting in Shanghai

In the summer of 2014, Li Ming graduated from a vocational college and started an internship at a real estate agency in Tianjin. Here, he met all kinds of people: Sister Xing, a married colleague who cared about his life like a sister and gave him warmth; a colleague's sister who claimed to have a car and a house, was divorced and had a baby, and treated him as if she were away from him; and the store manager's charming girlfriend who once drank with him in the shabby room he rented. At the same time, he received Tao Hui, a client who came to rent a house. This seemingly successful urban woman not only introduced him to job opportunities, but also took him to experience a life different from that of an agency store - cooking at her house and inviting him to a bar for drinks. These experiences gave him an initial complex and confusing understanding of the world and emotions. At the end of 2014, with a yearning for a bigger world and a trace of confusion accumulated in Tianjin, Li Ming took the train to Shanghai with his only savings and began his "Shanghai drifting" career.
