Zi Zi Jing Zhe: Am I a Good Gentleman?

The word "freedom" sounds happy and positive, which makes people yearn for it. So what is freedom? Freedom is the escape from bondage? But if a person has no long-term worries, he must have immediate worries. Freedom is control of destiny? I don't understand fate. The only thing I know is that luck is called a variable. Things that are ever-changing may be difficult to fully grasp. I'm afraid I'm not free. Perhaps there is no morality, no religion, and no freedom in the world. It is the spirit of "knowing that you cannot do something but doing it" and the courage of "even if there are thousands of people, I will go" that attracts people to pursue "freedom". The same goes for Lin Jingzhe, the protagonist of this book. He is full of doubts while pursuing freedom and walking around the world.
