The Leather-Pants Elf

My name is Lu Xinlin, and to everyone else, I'm a textbook good-for-nothing. Just a few days ago, I was moping over being too broke to afford food and getting dumped by my girlfriend. The only thing I could count on in my daily life was a pair of worn-out leather pants. Who could have guessed that my life would take such an absurd turn? Not only did I run into an alien with pointy ears like an elf's, I was also swept up in a wave of alien civilizations and high technology so incredible that even science fiction movies wouldn't dare depict it. Even more unexpectedly, the three of us, me, my old leather pants, and my alien companion, could somehow “fuse” and unleash extraordinary powers. But what pushed me over the edge was finding out that the ultimate enemy I had to face was my childhood friend, the one I'd grown up playing with. And he had a sinister power in his grasp, one capable of turning everything upside down. No one would believe a life story like this. Honestly, whenever I look back on it, even I feel like it was a dream I haven't woken from.
