In Jingtian Town on Xuanyang Star, immortal energy swirls through the air thanks to its proximity to the main city, making it a blessed place for mortals to awaken their immortal power. Su Xinhu is the town's star prodigy. He reached the second level of the Immortal Heaven Realm at twenty, and seemed destined for a brilliant future. But an interstellar romance plunged him into an abyss of no return. He and Sun Yuehong, who had fled an arranged marriage to the Tiansha Star, found love and built a home together, filling their little courtyard with the warmth of everyday life. They thought a quiet life was all they needed, but they could not escape the pursuit of Chen Huandong, a genius of the Evil Fiend Sect. A bloodstained marriage contract shattered their peace. After the battle, Su Xinhu's cultivation was completely crippled, Sun Yuehong was abducted, and Jingtian Town became a desolate ruin, its immortal power scattered. Ten years wore away the sharp edges of time. Su Xinhu sold his ancestral home and set off for Xuanyang City with his two sons, Su Ye and Su Kehan, all for an immortal power awakening test. His eldest son, Su Ye, was full of hope, but the test revealed that he was a mortal with no immortal roots. It was the fate of an age when immortal power had dried up after the great calamity, yet it also ignited the stubbornness deep within the boy. So what if he had no immortal power? A mortal's path could still lead to a legend that defied the heavens. Su Ye swore to shatter the boundary between mortals and immortals. He would not only find his mother, but also overturn the bloodstained marriage contract that had destroyed his father's life, carving a defiant path for mortals through the desolate road of immortality.
