I'm Already a God, So Why Have the Eldritch Monsters Only Just Arrived?

My name is Yan Jing. I’m a stickler for precision.

But it seems God has played a joke on me. Not only has a survival System bound itself to me, it’s also announced that I’m in a supernatural apocalypse.

[Warning! Host is approaching the Rank Seven Haunted Domain, “School of Ten Thousand Corpses.” Survival value continuously increasing by 50... Evacuate immediately!!!]

Yan Jing stops in his tracks and stares at the school gates, lost in thought.

[You bravely and miraculously slew the Rank Three supernatural entity, “Pen Immortal,” with your mortal body! Survival value +800! Resource acquired: “Pure Nether Soul Crystal”!]

Yan Jing looks down at the pencil he accidentally knocked onto the ground, where it broke in half.

“Pen Immortal?”

[Your divine might descended from on high! With only the strength of an ant, you redeemed and freed the Rank Five supernatural entity, “Yin Lightning Specter”! Survival value +5,000! Skill acquired: Yin Five Thunder Technique!]

Yan Jing watches the student he saved after they were nearly electrocuted to death struggle to make sense of the world.

“This world makes absolutely no sense!!!”

My name is Zhuge Xin. I was reborn.

In seven days, a supernatural game called “Netherworld” will invade reality.

The gates to the Netherworld will swing open. Supernatural entities will run rampant, and all life will be plunged into misery.

In my previous life, I did everything I could and still ended up a refugee on the run.

“This time, I’ll change my fate! I’ll save more of my people!”

But first, I need to seek the protection of Yan Jing, the Netherworld’s King of Hell.

And I need to eliminate Ye Ziheng, the evil archvillain of the Netherworld, whose atrocities have struck terror into everyone’s hearts.

One righteous, the other evil, both are beings capable of matching the Netherworld’s gods and ghosts.
