A young man in the 21st century, because of a hangover, is Eric, a missionary who went to the New World on the eve of the independence of the United States in the 18th century. Amidst the chaos, Eric realized that this parallel world seemed different from the original historical trajectory, and magical power seemed to exist. Britain wants to break away from the control of the Pope, and the Pope wants to push for American independence to beat Britain.
