Ten Wives and One City

The fictional Great Tang Dynasty. During the Hexi Rebellion, the Whitehead Army of Anxi numbered seventy thousand, with only thirteen survivors. The Marquis of Anxi brings ten heroic wives to farm in Chang’an. All ten heroic wives are wounded or disabled. None of them is whole anymore. They guarded Anxi to the death in the prime of their lives, never taking a single step back. Some are covered in scars, while others have lost legs or limbs. But they are all the Marquis of Anxi’s beloveds. No mindless wish fulfillment, no System, a purely fictional setting. Step by step, they make a living in this century-old Great Tang Dynasty.
