When the curtain of civilization was torn off, the city skyline turned into a desolate silhouette in the bloody sunset. Those wandering bodies are no longer existences in the biological sense, but the most poignant allegory of modernity - when survival is reduced to the only narrative, our carefully constructed symbol system is shattered into powder in the face of primitive desires. The scene of fighting for cans in front of supermarket shelves is the last carnival of consumer society; and the bureaucrats in the air-raid shelters who are still revising emergency plans are still writing the epitaph of human civilization with invalid grammar.
