When a DVD player breaks into the yard with the "newness" in the city, it also opens up the dusty old scars of the family. The old people are weighing the rules and friendship, the children are testing between curiosity and taboos, all the noise, tears and astonishment will eventually fall back on the shoulders of silence. Carrying their losses, they continued to light the fire, add firewood, and use "living" itself to keep the last mouthful of hot soup for their dilapidated home.
