Saving Pokemon, Starting with Marvel

And so began the unorthodox “World-Saving Plan”: In the Marvel Universe, Rotom tracked down Tony Stark, who was suffering from palladium poisoning. “Sir, would you like to completely purify the toxins in your body? One Pyukumuku in exchange for some of your ‘scrap metal’ and ‘leftovers’ seems fair, right?” Seeing the Pokemon that could absorb and purify toxins, Tony fell into thought, then began placing orders like crazy. In the world of One Piece, Rotom tried to sell Luffy on a deal: “Want your brother to come back to life? Maybe we can negotiate over the Distortion World of Giratina, the Renegade Pokemon.” The price was... sea king aquaculture technology and all the mineral resources of Wano Country. At the Jujutsu Kaisen school, Rotom haggled with Satoru Gojo: “Want to solve the cursed energy problem once and for all? Our Fairy-type energy is the perfect counter to every Dark type, including cursed spirits. Trade us your factories and Barrier Technique.” Years later, the first Myriad Worlds Pokemon Champion Tournament began, and Ouyang smiled with satisfaction.
