I Deceived Myself

Late at night, a letter from hell knocks on the door. The shadow outside the door has no head. On the other end of the phone was my desperate self ten years later: "If you open the door, you will die. If you don't open the door, the world will die because of you." I swallowed the letter and also swallowed a lie.
