Paradox of Order

When procedural justice cannot touch the dark corners of human nature, and when victims have no way to appeal, vigilante justice has a breeding ground. The novel does not excuse crimes, but uses extreme cases to ask readers: How to balance our desire for "result justice" with the bottom line of maintaining "procedural justice"

The terrible path the mind takes into darkness. "Mentors" are not simply perverted killers, but "practitioners" who extreme and instrumentalize philosophical ideas such as Nietzsche's. The author keenly points out that any great idea, once separated from the warmth and compassion of human nature, may be twisted into cold dogma and become an excuse to commit atrocities.
