Absurd Honor

The hustle and bustle in the boxing ring has long since dissipated, leaving only the red-stained canvas, glowing with dazzling light in the memory. I always see him in a trance, the icon that is suddenly enshrined. The left eye is a black hole, the right eye is filled with dead water, and the body is falling slowly like a kite with broken strings. The silence of the entire audience was like noise that penetrated deeply into my ears. The solemn and absurd ending reminded me that behind the glory was the blood and fragile bones of mortals.
