Under the Cold Wave: Road to Doom

The year is 2130, about a hundred years after the end of the world. The continuously worsening "Great Cold Wave" has led to drastic changes in the global climate. Most of the temperate and cold zone areas have been covered by permafrost and glaciers. Ecosystems have collapsed, traditional agriculture has almost become extinct, science and technology have significantly regressed, and the population has dropped sharply. Survivors gather in sporadic cities or sanctuaries sustained by geothermal, nuclear or remaining fossil fuels. H City is such a fortress city that relies on the industrial foundation of the old era and a nearby geothermal resource to survive. The sky is almost always shrouded in gray clouds and cold aerosols.
