The Long Night Is Coming to an End

Chen Mo, a 35-year-old senior programmer, became redundant code that needed to be "optimized" after the system he built was judged to be "technical debt." When the "algorithm" that supported him for the first half of his life was cleared by a piece of paper, his life came to a halt in an instant.
