I’m the Dragon Gate in the Western Continent

After I transmigrated to the Western Continent, elves, orcs, merfolk, monsters, dragons, and more began to appear...

Li Fan transmigrated to the Western Continent.

Summer, Year 750 of the Western Calendar.

The kingdoms across the land were developing, each presenting a different scene in a changing world.

Some were building wonders, while others were tucked away in medieval castles.

Some were experiencing the Renaissance, while others were setting sail into the Age of Exploration.

Some enjoyed the calm Enlightenment before the Industrial Revolution, while steam engines had already begun to roar in others.

That year, a sudden, devastating flood changed the course of history.

Autumn, Year 751 of the Western Calendar.

The Western Continent, the eastern coast.

The flood extinguished the first sparks of the newly emerging Industrial Revolution in the Kingdom of Belen.

The proud Queen Verona turned into a mouse and boarded Li Fan's little wooden boat.

Li Fan praised the lucky goddess for her blown kiss, then cheered, “Your Majesty, it's time to show your ticket!”

What's it like to be the Dragon Gate in a fantasy world?

Good news: You get first pick of becoming a dragon.

Good news, part two: You get to answer some people's prayers.

Before the Dragon Gate.

A girl with long, wavy blonde hair prayed, “Lord Dragon Gate, I often feel out of place with my friends because I'm not of a new race. How can I evolve into one?”

Li Fan replied, “My dear, it's simple. You need to do three things.

“First, you need to know this: even among the new races, there are different ranks. Your friends are only second-rate new races. If you cross the Dragon Gate, you'll become a first-rate one.

“Second, you need to understand that every gift fate bestows comes with a serial number.

“Come to my room tonight, and I'll tell you the third thing.”
