Family Fires Are Everlasting

Since the founding of New China, the wheel of the times has been rolling forward. The first generation of coal miners, represented by the three brothers Lin Zhenhua, buried their sweat and youth deep underground; as time went by, their next generation, the second generation of miners epitomized by Lin Jiandong, took over the mining lamp of their fathers. This is not only a history of industry changes in coal mines from collective management to restructuring and integration into the modern trend, but also an epic of the life of an ordinary family in northern China spanning more than half a century. From the imprint of collectivism, to the wave of reform and opening up, to the pulse of informatization, three generations have risen, grown, and persevered in the grand narrative of the times. No matter how the outside world is turned upside down, the warmth of "home" flowing deep in their blood has always been their strongest bond and brightest beacon, together weaving the unique light of home.
