Zhang Qiaofu, a woodcutter from a mountain village, was recruited into the army in troubled times. With his extraordinary courage and fighting skills developed in the mountains and forests, he grew from an ordinary soldier to a famous general. He used a hatchet to split a road to become a prince, and wrote his own legend on the battlefield.
