The Little Carpenter Joins the Army in the 1980S

Ma Wuni from Shanglin Village: pretty, good at managing a household, and strong. Qian Jin: enlisted in the army, earns a salary, handsome, and has a bright future. His one flaw is that he's petty and holds a grudge. The awkward part is that Ma Wuni and Qian Cheng, Qian Jin's brother, are both excellent students with good temperaments. She had just broken off her engagement to Qian Cheng when she turned around and got engaged to Qian Jin, whom she'd been at odds with since childhood. For these three childhood friends, their story is one man's personal battlefield: Qian Jin's. A little scene: Qian Jin looks at Ma Wuni and Qian Cheng in front of him. “What are you doing?” Ma Wuni kicks Qian Cheng away as he clings to her. “Don't get the wrong idea. I didn't do anything.” Qian Cheng grabs Ma Wuni. “Sister Wuni, let's elope.” Ma Wuni shakes her head and turns to Qian Jin. “Nothing happened. As if I could ever take a liking to him!” Qian Jin gives a couple of dry laughs. “If you didn't like him, why did you get engaged to him in the first place?” Ma Wuni: “I was young and foolish, and didn't understand love. Now, you're the only one I see.”
