In 2247, humans established a network of colonial stars in the solar system. The "Star Alliance" government monopolized interstellar resources in the name of "protecting humanity", but it strictly blocked the truth about the spread and artificial cultivation of "deep space radiation mutants (alteration mutants)". Lin Ye, a mechanic in the Rust Belt of Mars, accidentally activated the "Stardust Factor" in his body during an attack by an alterant and established a symbiotic link with the juvenile alterant. This conflicted violently with his childhood memory of witnessing his parents being devoured by the alterant.
