Under the Abyss of Time, the Stars Are Unresponsive

Core setting: In the not-too-distant future, a terrifying space-time distortion area called the "Abyss" appears on the edge of the solar system. It does not devour matter, but devours time crazily, causing the flow of time around the earth to fall into chaos and the social order to collapse. In order to survive, mankind launched the desperate "Echo Project": uploading the consciousness of volunteers to a special detector and going deep into the core of the "abyss" in an attempt to stabilize the turbulent flow of time.
