Not bad, very creative
What most current Harry Potter fan fiction lacks is creativity
Comments on this book (high praise)
Now for those who have not read this book, I will briefly introduce the plot. In another world line, Dumbledore lost to Grindelwald, and then Grindelwald unified the magical world. After that, the wizarding world fought a war with the Muggles, and the final result was a complete victory for the wizarding world. Grindelwald was crowned president and unified the world. Although ordinary humans used nuclear weapons during the war and almost turned the world into a wasteland, with the power of magic, wizards can still live happily in the world. Harry Potter in this world line has died, but Dumbledore and Harry Potter's parents found a way to summon Harry Potter from the original world line to this world. From then on, Harry Potter can travel between the two world lines. This world line has abandoned all the old concepts in the wizarding world and ushered in the high development of magic technology. When Harry Potter entered school, the magic abilities of everyone around him were more than a little higher than those in the original world line. The knowledge reserve of the first-year students surpassed the original world line. There were also some reasonable changes in everyone's personality. For example, Malfoy became polite because of his aristocratic upbringing. Even now, I think the setting of this book is excellent. The most attractive part to me is that another world views magic from a scientific, rational and academic perspective, and Harry Potter learned advanced concepts and knowledge from there, and thus made many changes in the original world line. For example, in the first few chapters, Harry Potter learned to look at the Unforgivable Curses in an academic way. He knew that the reason why these spells could not be released directly was because they would change the state of the soul and distort people's personalities, not because there were any real moral problems, so he used the magic ring to release them. He can bring the scientific research way of thinking from another world to this place. I think this is the core attraction for me. It's not that no one wrote about the blend of technology and magic before, but because of the mismatch between Harry Potter's worldview and those technologies, the writing was often nondescript. The author's idea for this book is very good. He did not apply modern technology but adopted the "scientific" way of thinking, which is to learn magic in an academic and conceptual way, discover the rules, and recognize and use the rules. This has the technological route of this world that matches the world view of Harry Potter. I think this theme is very creative, at least this is the first time I have seen such a complete setting among Harry Potter fans. If you ask why the results of this book are not particularly good, I personally think that writing about the progress of two world lines at the same time is still too high for the author's writing skills. It might be much better if we only explain the setting of another world at the beginning, let Harry Potter travel back in time, and introduce the other world through narrative. In the first few chapters, the author uses a technique of running two world lines in parallel. Later, he often writes a few chapters here and a few chapters there. This makes it seem like the readers are following two different books, and the plot is a bit separated, because there is basically no intersection between the people in the two world lines in the early stage. And the author must have discovered that readers prefer to read stories in the original world line, so he basically only rewrote the original world line at the end of the writing, and only wrote a few strokes to explain the plot direction of the new world line. I personally think that the latter strategy is correct, but it is too late. If it had been like this from the first chapter, the results might have been better. Even so, I still like this book very much, mainly because the setting of using scientific thinking to learn magic is indeed very brilliant.
It's hard to imagine that wizards, parasites that were treated like dogs in the Middle Ages, could defeat humans.
Not to mention treating Muggle-born wizards differently,
The front part is pretty good, but the back part is all written according to the original work. Where is my heroine? Why did he become a roadside NPC?
Have you ever thought that Harry's grandparents were also Muggles?
Set up a talent market, then according to the setting, Harry should be here too
Is this grade so bad? I don't dare to order anymore, for fear of eunuchs.
Jiangjiang——Arrived!
The sauce is here, bubbling here
Quite creative
There should be two timelines where Dumbledore and Grindelwald confront each other. There is more content to expand on.
Well written
It's well written and thoughtful. The most rare thing about fan fiction is to break away from the shackles of the original work. The author should be firm in his own ideas, and the number of readers will increase.
There is no sense of novelty like being in another world at the beginning (´_ゝ`). Most of the developments in the original world can tell what to write just by looking at the title.
When will the update be released?
I think it's okay, but I've been describing the world of the IF line so far, but I can't wait to see the plot of the sorting in this world.
Can see food and grass
Was Sirius dumbfounded by Dumbledore's amnestics?🙂
Suddenly I remembered, Harry doesn't know how to do Occlumency. How can you go in without being discovered by the Headmaster and Snape? They are both masters in this field.
Well enough
It was very refreshing to read twenty chapters. Let's see what happens next
I have an idea. Wasn't Devo's world depleted of resources and severely polluted? You can go on expeditions to other worlds, such as the world where Voldemort is victorious.
I didn't discover this book until chapter 366. I just finished reading the free chapter and found it very good. The change in background is a bit like the book without the savior.
Come on, author, you must keep writing
It is a very good Harry Potter fanfic, but the plot is mainly based on the original world. The content is not much different from most similar Harry Potter fanfics. The author of the other world line prefers not to go into depth. After all, it is more difficult to write original works, which is why this book is not very popular.
What can Harry's Animagus change? Werewolf vampire or fire dragon?
I hope the protagonist can learn more soul-based magic spells
If Harry Animagus were a vampire, would he be able to solve the lifespan problem?
