The Legend of Heroes of Luzhong

The story of this book takes place in the hinterland of central Shandong on the eve of the Revolution of 1911. Cheng Daguan, a young man from a down-and-out rich family, was by chance coerced by the local Hebanshan gang and involved in a robbery of his family's ancestral business - the local financial street - the silver market. Cheng Daguan used his wisdom and courage to skillfully transform this action into a rescue operation for his revolutionary brother Cheng Wenxing, who was imprisoned in the Yamen. After that, he led everyone in Hebanshan to join in the revolutionary national salvation movement.
