Circle of Oracles

Deep in the obsidian mine, what Lance touched was not a gift, but a curse. When the "sequence mark" symbolizing power and status was not given by the supreme [Oracle Ring], but grew on its own in the ruins of despair, he understood that he had become a mistake and an anomaly under this sacred rule. The sequence of others absorbs the glorious spirituality, climbs the ladder to godhood, and accepts the admiration of all. His sequence, however, only swallowed up the residue of death, despair, and the power of collapse, spreading quietly in the coldness and nothingness.
