Other people's protagonists have one soul and two souls, but my novel has one soul and two characters. On one side are young people with tanned skin in a small county town, stepping on the muddy fields to count the harvest, and going to the market with crumpled change in their pockets. The biggest worry is whether there will be enough rain for the next season's crops; On the other side is the daughter of a mansion in Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai. She has a limited edition watch on her fingertips and is drinking afternoon tea on the lawn of a private estate. They are casually discussing the merger and acquisition of overseas estates. Switch identities at will, life is as easy as flipping a finger.
