American Comics: Please Give Me a Hunting License!

The world changed, and every monster hunter player's hunting skill dropped to one ten-thousandth of what it had been. Only I stayed the same...

Before transmigrating, Jason had once imagined something like this.

The good news: his fantasy came true. After transmigrating, he also awakened the [Monster Hunter] System, which let him spend research points to upgrade himself, transforming from a frail ordinary person into a legendary hunter capable of wrestling with Elder Dragons.

The bad news: when the world changed, things went a little too far and sent him to the Western regions. Now he was in the Marvel Universe.

“Where the hell did I end up? Is this still the New World? Where are my monsters?”

He drew his sword and looked around, utterly lost.

But Jason was convinced that as long as he was sufficiently racist, the American comic-book world before him was full of monsters:

Mutants who wanted to destroy humanity? Monsters! Aliens invading Earth? Obviously monsters! The Hulk, born from Gamma Radiation? Did he really have to be knocked flying by one of his instant turtle punches before he'd admit he was a monster?

At that moment, the Hunter x Hunter was born.

When Jason, twin blades in hand, looked up at the towering Galactus and realized he could give him the most satisfying back scratch of his life, he knew he'd come to the right place.

“Give me a hunting license!!!”
