Urban God of Fire: The Dragon Soul Rises

At the peak of Mount Tai, an ordinary young man named Chen Xi tumbles off a cliff and unexpectedly awakens the legacy of the ancient God of Fire, Zhurong. His Samadhi True Fire can scorch the heavens and destroy the earth! From a C-rank esper to an SSS-rank god, he summons fire tigers, commands golden crows, and rules over fire phoenixes. Along the way, he gathers a band of comrades who bicker in their local dialects but stand together through life and death:

The sharp-tongued Taoist priest Geng Lei from Hebei: “Better a fellow Taoist die than a poor Taoist like me!” The brawny tough guy Yang Yongwang from Shandong: “Take my punch!” The chubby monk Li Bobo from Henan: “Good or not? Let me have a bite of roast chicken first!” The Sichuanese woman Cui Ziyao, an heir to the Tang Clan: “Take this! Let me show you how nasty a chili dart can be!” And more…

From dealing with zombies and spirits at home to fighting Japanese ninjas and European and American vampires, they protect their homeland in the shadows of the city under the name “Dragon Soul.” Wielding the God of Fire’s saber and riding a nine-turn glassy fire phoenix, Chen Xi embarks on an epic tale of growth, passion, and bonds: “As long as my brothers are still here, this fire will never go out!”
