The Doomsday Arena: The Redemption of Horus

When the “Crimson Flood” engulfed the world and Hell’s demons and interstellar beastfolk turned Terra into a hunting ground, humanity’s fate seemed to have fallen into the abyss. But for Liang Feifan, the apocalypse was his true beginning. The genes of Warmaster Horus resided within him, granting him boundless strength, ambition, and combat instincts. The remnant soul of Saint Sanguinius guided his spirit, bringing him the Imperium’s technology, tactics, and the light of humanity. “Conquer everything with strength and ascend the throne of this planet!” The desire deep in his genes roared. “Your strength comes from protecting others, not from killing.” A voice from the heights of his soul guided him. So while other survivors were risking their lives for a bite to eat, Liang Feifan had already begun trading “faith” for technology. While alien legions displayed their sinister war machines, the engine of the first Leman Russ tank was already roaring at Liang Feifan’s base. While enemy hero units rampaged across the battlefield, the first modified Space Marine had already geared up, the deathly chill of a boltgun gleaming in his hands. This is a story about rediscovering hope amid destruction and finding a path of loyalty within the power of traitors. It is an epic about a young man whose mortal body bears demigod power, leading the abandoned “Awakened” unit known as the “Sons of the Storm” as they reclaim a future for human civilization, one step at a time. Liang Feifan: “I’m not trying to be humanity’s savior. I just want to tell every visitor from beyond the stars: this is Terra, humanity’s home. If you want to take it, you’ll have to get past me and the billions of people standing behind me!”
