Treasures in the Yaowang Temple in Beijing

In order to express his gratitude to Medicine King for his merits, the Medicine King Temple was built. Yaowang Temple faces east to west. Inside Yaowang Temple is the alchemy furnace used by Yaowang to make alchemy, which attracted local people to see it, so the place is called Dankan Village. In the old days, the local incense was very popular, and religious men and women from eight villages within ten miles came to Yaowang Temple to offer incense and pray for blessings. In front of the temple, the villagers have opera singers, storytellers, stilt walkers, Chinese flag players, land boat runners, and yangko dancers... There are all kinds of special Beijing snacks on both sides of the village street, including those selling cut cakes, Those who braise and cook, those who sell bean juice, those who sell oil tea, those who buy fried liver, those who buy pea yellow... The vendors are shouting and hawking. Men, women, old and young come together, and it is very lively. Since the new century, the Beijing Municipal and Fengtai District governments have allocated funds to rebuild the Yaowang Temple and list it as a cultural relic protection unit. They have also collected lost Yaowang Temple cultural relics from the public. Although cultural relics were collected from villagers' homes, the alchemy furnace of Medicine King Sun Simiao was lost among the people, and there has never been any news.
