Lying in Coffin

I don't know if anyone has heard of this folk custom. After a person dies, a strong-blooded person needs to lie in the coffin of the deceased for a night. In this way, he can help the deceased to block the cause and effect of this life, so as to avoid suffering many sins and punishments in the underworld. This folk custom, in some southern mountains, is called lying in a coffin, exploring ghost gates, or black mop. People who specialize in lying in coffins to ward off disasters are called Heizi, Gui Tanzi, Mao Tanzi, Sixth Brother, Mao Liuxiaoge, or more formally, "coffin-laying people."
