The Heir's Demonic Aura Reaches the Heavens

Qin Ze is a demon, and the most powerful being in the world. Yet no matter how great his power, he has never been able to ascend to immortality. The Heavenly Gate opens only to humans. Demons are forbidden from crossing its threshold. So Qin Ze decides to abandon his demonic body, possess a human, and force his way through the Heavenly Gate... That year, in the far west of the continent, a demon quietly passed away, like a drifting leaf. That year, the naturally dull-witted heir of the Prince of Zhenbei sat motionless in the courtyard all day, then suddenly achieved enlightenment, his seven apertures fully opened. That same year, the Imperial Astronomical Bureau watched the stars at night and saw demonic energy surging over the capital of Great Qian. That night, all forty-eight star watchers died. No one knew why. No one noticed that the heir of the Prince of Zhenbei had withdrawn his gaze from the Imperial Astronomical Bureau, his eyes lingering with a cold, distant light. And no one saw that the heir’s eyes seemed to be those of a demon.
