The Untamed Outcast

“Your kung fu is worse than shit! Even the janitor is better than you!”

Inside the martial arts school, the short-tempered instructor berated his students.

Li Ye, the janitor, slowly rose to his feet. “Coach, I think you’re right.”

As his words fell, his knuckles struck the hardwood. The wood cracked apart with a sharp snap, sending splinters flying. Fresh wood gleamed white at the break.

“This practice post is rotten. So is some people’s kung fu.”

That was what he said.

It was his senior year of high school, and the martial arts entrance exam was fast approaching.

To save on the steep fees for martial arts classes and give himself a chance of passing the exam, Li Ye took a job cleaning the martial arts school.

As it happened, his golden finger arrived.

Whenever he or anyone else practiced martial arts or fought, there was a chance of dropping a glowing orb. Picking one up earned him skill points.

From then on, things were simple.

Add points!

Raise [Baji Fist (Uninitiated)] to [Baji Fist (Mastery Beyond Perfection)], and one punch could reduce a mecha to dust.

Raise [Twelve-Route Spring Leg (Uninitiated)] to [Twelve-Route Spring Leg (Mastery Beyond Perfection)], and with one kick I can stride across all the heavens and myriad races.

At first, they called me Country Bumpkin because I was poor. Later, they still called me Country Bumpkin because I was arrogant.

So what if I’m a Country Bumpkin? Who would dare call me that to my face now? The moment I step into the spotlight, all they can do is cry out

Martial Saint!
